Coated sheets and plates
The metallurgical enterprise cherishes almost a half century experience in manufacture of large-size double-layer and three-layer sheets and plates for important articles. The specialists had developed and mastered the technology of manufacture of coated sheets (double- and three-layer) by the method of rolling of asymmetric packets.
Fields of application
Oil and gas facilities, chemical industry: vessels and pipelines for aggressive media i.a hydrogen sulphide, in operation at ordinary and high values of temperatures and pressures; vessels and pipelines in operation at low ambient temperatures.
Nuclear power engineering: hydraulic capacities of the emergency cooling system and other equipment.
Offshore drilling rigs: lining the ice contacting belt of offshore platforms.

Coated sheets and plates undergo:
- 100% ultrasonic control of metal continuity and zone of cohesion;
- testing the mechanical properties, i.a.:
- testing for impact strength at minus (to -70C) and plus (to +550C) temperatures;
- testing after mechanical ageing;
- testing of coating layer for shear and cold bending
- testing the macrostructure.
Coated sheets and plates are supplied in compliance with requirements of ГОСТ 10885-85 and ТУ05764417-041-95; ТУ0900-005-05764417-99; ТУ05764417-048-96, ТУ 5.961-11680-98 and ТУ0900-025-05764417-2001 in coordination with leading general metallurgy organisations of Russian Federation, Gosatomnadzor (State Nuclear Power Engineering Supervising Authority), Russian Marine Register of Navigation. The sheets may be supplied with the required scope of heat treatment as well as with continuous polishing of the coating layer.
In compliance with Customer's desire the equipment of enterprises is involved in welding the coated sheets of indicated compositions, rolling of cowlings up to 4000 mm in diameter, stamping of bottoms up to 3500 mm in diameter out of coated sheets of the entire range of thickness.
