OMZ-Special Steels is the largest Russian manufacturer of semifinished metallurgical products for a variety of industries including machine building, petrochemistry, shipbuilding, heavy machine-building and metallurgy.

The company was founded on August 1, 2002 at the metallurgy shops of  "Izhorskiye Zavody" and is a part of the OMZ-corporation.

Establishment of OMZ- Special Steels was the result of implementing the restructuring policy of basic manufacturing facilities pursued by the corporation, with the objective to reduce production costs, enhance transparency of the financial activity, rise the investment attractiveness and the corporation products competitiveness.

The range of OMZ- Special Steels products is as follows: forgings, stamped/formed products, hot-rolled sheets and plates (including composite ones) of various in-house produced steel grades.

Production facilities of the enterprise permit to manufacture products unique in their characteristics and overall dimensions, which are in high demand both on Russian and foreign markets.
